The First Week of School
  1. For the first week of school, August 17, 2020- August 21, 2020 all classes at LNHS will meet online using Zoom.

  2. You will hear the words "synchronous and asynchronous." Synchronous( happening at the same time) means the teacher will be teaching you "live" on Zoom. Asynchronous (not happening at the same time) means "on your own" so your teacher might have a video posted for you to watch, or work for you to complete, but you will not meet live with your teacher on asynchronous days.

  3. Zoom links can be found on each teacher's Canvas Page

  4. Students should login to each block Monday-Friday as the designated time. (See the schedule above).

  5. During the week teachers will go over:

  • Class expectations

  • Attendance requirements

  • Class Meeting times moving forward

  • Opportunities for face-to-face tutoring

The Second week of School and Beyond...
  1. Beginning August 24th, LNHS students will follow the schedule below for synchronous (live) instruction

  2. Using the schedule below for the day and time, students will login for live instruction

Synchronous (happening at the same time) means the teacher will be teaching you "live" on Zoom. Asynchronous (not happening at the same time) means your teacher might have a video posted for you to watch, or work for you to complete, but you will not meet live with your teacher on asynchronous days.

When students are invited to LNHS for support...
  1. Beginning August 24th, teachers will begin inviting students in for in-person support.

  2. Students cannot come on campus without being invited by the teacher.

  3. Students will also have the opportunity to request in-person support. More information on how this process will go will be communicated by the teacher.

  4. Before any student will be allowed on campus, for any reason, they must have an attestation form on file. The links below will take you to the forms. Please complete the form so it is done for the semester.
